The phyto-chemical, Cannabidiol is extracted from the flowers and buds of marijuana or industrial hemp plants. It does not produce intoxication; marijuana’s “high effects” are mostly caused by the phyto-chemical tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD OIL BENEFITS
So, people want to know like CBD oil, how does it works and what are the benefits so we would get to some of the benefits of it all but most people start with maybe like for pain.
You hear it can be used for pain and things like that. It can be a good pain reliever. It’s a good anti-inflammatory so; it can help with inflammation and things like that. Also, it can have like a calming effect. So, people do use CBD oil for anxiety and depression. Some people use it if they are having troubles sleeping, they’ll take it before they go to bed.
PAIN RELIEF
So, the reason I started using CBD oil was for some pains I was having and it did help those pains. I don’t have anxiety or anything like that. I did notice that it does give me like a calming effect, it does have a calming effect on me but that’s not the reason I was using it. I guess for me, that’s what I would call maybe a side effect but for some people are looking for that. And I’m okay with it. Having that calmness is fine with me. There’s one great story, another reason why other people use it, I was speaking to a person, she was telling me a story about herself where she was allergic to pretty much all pain medication. So, she had pancreatic cancer, her doctor gave her 9 months to live and the only pain medication she told me she could take was dilaudid and I guess that dilaudid just kind of puts you out. She couldn’t take anything else, everything else had a bad reaction with her. So, she was taking that CBD oil just to alleviate pain. Well, the doctors think it helped her with her pancreatic cancer because they gave her 9months to live and she was telling me this was 9years ago. So, the doctor told her, “Whatever you doing, just keep doing it.” So, it was 9 years ago. She was obviously getting it illegally but it was helping her with her pain so she needed something to help with pain that wasn’t going to just make her quality of life just be sleeping all the time and so, she took it and it helped her and she still takes it to this day.
CBD OIL FOR ACNE
Another thing that’s interesting with CBD oil is it can reduce acne so someone that has acne, you can take it. So, someone that has acne, you can take it internally or you can also use it on your skin but it kills, they say it kills some of the bacteria that’s kind of related to having acne. So, it does help with that. I haven’t used it for that but people do use it for that.
NEUROPROTECTIVE PROPERTIES
It has neural protective properties too so it can. So one of the systems the CBD oil acts on is the endocannabinoid system, I hope I’m saying it right, and that’s like one of the brain signaling system so, it’s similar to how THC works on that system. It reacts to it the same way. I’m not a scientist but… so; it can have some protective properties for like the nervous system.
TO LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
There have been reports of another benefit and it helps with the circulatory system. These studies are still, I guess kind of new but I hear it has the ability to help to lower high blood pressure so there are some good benefits like some of the stuff with cancer and things like that.
TO HELP FIGHT CANCER
People report that it helps with cancer. I don’t know if it’s a cure for cancer but if it’s something that can help a person from their pain from cancer, but you just see more and more stories coming out about this and studies and it’s becoming more accepted even by the FDA and agencies like that. Well, we already kind of talked about delivery systems a little bit.

There are creams that… So there are CBD creams you can use on your skin for pain.
