The elliptical machine. ‘Its fun! I also hike with a weighted vest,”
Best Motivation
Fitting into her “skinny” pants. “I found a fake snakeskin pair from my rock-and-roll days. Tom said, ‘They’d look hot on you, but they’re a little dated.’”
Ongoing Challenge
Self-Esteem. “Tom loved me when I was a lot heavier. But I still think, ‘How could he have?’ I’m working on getting rid of that attitude.”

Alley maintains her weight by eating one Jenny Craig meal and snack per day. “I cook diffenetly than I used to. I eat organic now. And I don’t have bacon.”

“Dancing for three hours in my living room. You can’t easily get me to do something else for that long.”
Best Motivation
A weeklong stay at Cal-a-Vie spa in Vista, Calif., three times a year. (She packs a Jenny Craig meal and snack for each day.)
Ongoing Challenge
“Actually, working out. I’m working on consistency now.”
