I hope you don’t mind that Jake Gyllenhaal is in the photo :)

Since I posted about Reese Witherspoon and her beloved Crock Pot the other day I’ve been trying to find some Reese Witherspoon diet info for you. I mean, she always looks great - she seems fit and healthy, but you don’t hear about her being on any crazy diet or working out constantly.

So I got a few tidbits on Reese.

Reese’s diet:

  • Reese eats 5 small meals per day.
  • She eats a high-fiber muffin at breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and salmon and vegetables for dinner.

 Reese’s workout:

She runs three miles every day and she does yoga.

Here’s a recipe from Reese Witherspoon via the Ellen show website and thegailspot.com.

*Pour the wine into the skillet and scrape up any browned bits; add the skillet contents to the cooker, along with the mushrooms, onions, garlic, rosemary and salt.

*Cover and cook on low heat for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.

*Transfer the chicken, bacon and vegetables to a platter; keep warm. Pour the sauce into a small saucepan. Combine the water and cornstarch; stir it into the sauce.

*Heat to boiling stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens about 5 minutes. Pour over the chicken.
