OK Magazine recently did a story called “When is thin too thin?” and in it they divulge the height and weight stats of many of our favorite skinny celebrities.
I’m going to start today with Nicky Hilton, seen here in her 2007 Halloween costume.

OK Magazine reports that Nicky Hilton has a BMI (body mass index) of 14.4, with her height listed as 5′7″ and her weight being 92 pounds!
Here is a chart on BMI from Wikipedia:

So you can see that according to these classifications, Nicky Hilton falls into the “starvation” category.

Sorry, I just don’t buy it. All of these celebrities report their weights/the media reports their weights to be much lower than they are. As someone who has suffered from eating disorders in the past and whose weight has ranged from 90 lbs - 135 lbs, I can tell you that skinny as she may be, she is no 92 lbs and 5′7″. Honestly, her proportions look very similar to mine now and I am 107 and 5′4″. So, skinny? Yes. Underweight? Probably. A bmi of 14.4? No way.
