I am a longtime Marilyn fan and if memory serves, she was so unhappy with those photos she took a pair of scissors to all the ones to which she had access. It makes me wonder if LiLo knows anything about her as a person or if she is just another one attracted to the image of Marilyn Monroe.

Regardless, I have to agree that LiLo is no Marilyn. There is none of the innocence, none of the sweetness or vulnerability in her that was in Marilyn. She never looked like a tart, no matter what she was (or was not) wearing. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw LiLo NOT looking like a tart.

And people need to remember that Marilyn's mother was institutionalized, something Marilyn feared would happen to her one day. Her substance abuse was her attempt at self-medicating. The only mental problem LiLo appears to suffer from is lack of common sense.

Sorry to rant, but I'm pretty fed up with having so-called "stars" like LiLo and her ilk shoved down my throat. Oh for the days of real stars, like the ones my grandparents had.
