Jessica Simpson’s latest fad diet is working! It’s the 5 Factor Diet…

Jessica Simpson is having 1300 calorie meals delivered to her home through the 5-Factor Diet website. I was curious as to the cost of the service and after spending considerable time on the website couldn’t find any information on that. She is a star so it seems she is getting star treatment.

The 5-Factor Diet is a fairly uncomplicated regimen of 3 meals and 2 snacks daily, consisting of: low-fat protein, fiber, healthy carbs and fats, and a sugar-free drink with every meal (yep, that could be a diet soda or my beverage of choice – water).

Jessica Simpson has tried basically every diet out there, hasn’t she? Remember her Atkins days? That was just before her second album, and in the irresistible video. When she did the Dukes of Hazzard she was on South beach and on a ridiculous exercise program (two hours on the treadmill on top of doing weights). She was way too skinny at that point, then gained it all again during her divorce.

I think she looks very nice here actually. Im a fan of the 5-factor book. I bought it when Halle Berry said that’s the routine she used to get in shape for Catwoman.  But then again…I’d lose weight if I only ate 1300 calories a day too.

It’s nice to see Jessica Simpson keeping herself in shape, but is she overdoing it? 

Apparently Jessica is working out so much that it’s even getting in the way of her work.  She’s constantly jogging on her movie set between breaks that she’s being told to give it a rest! Producers say she’s gotta get back on schedule as she’s constantly tardy for her takes, and they never know where to find her because she’s out jogging all over the place!  Maybe she needs a beeper instead of a pedometer!

Jessica Simpson used to be on the Atkins diet like lots of other celebrities.

“Atkins really messed me up mentally. I was so starved for carbs, I binged on them.” She now eats her favorite foods which are bread, cookie dough ice cream and Italian meals, buts Jessica eats them in moderation, along with lots of salad.
