Janet recommends “eating light” and does not believe eating is about deprivation. She compensates her cheat days with more exercise. While she continues to work with her nutritionist, she has now hired a chef to prepare her meals instead of using a food delivery service as she did, which was the same thing Ricki Lake uses, called Fresh Dining. She’s following a 1300-1650 calories-a-day meal plan with 3 meals and 2 snacks plus an hour of exercise six days a week. Although now, she is doing about half that. Janet curbs her hunger by eliminating processed carbs and having a good amount of protein with each meal. I’m glad she’s being smart about it now, as she finally realizes that dieting is a lifestyle and not a 7 day a week food delivery service.
Janets Workout Routine

Janet Jackson eats healthy but its not her claim to fame. She gets her rock hard body by working out. Here’s her disciplined weekly workout plan:
Legs twice a week (reverse lunges, good mornings, toe touches, and leg press pushing back at a 30-degree angle).
Upper body work twice a week (push-ups, pull-downs, chest flyes, biceps and triceps supersets and shoulder lateral raises).
3 days of ab training
5-6 days of cardiovascular exercise (including kickboxing, basketball, tennis, baseball, jumping rope, and running)
