I have been having mesotherapy treatments... It all began basically as a part (included in the package, so to speak) of the treatment of circulation issues in my legs (spider vains, poor circulation, etc.). I went ahead only because, well, it was not expensive AND included, but not really thinking it would make a difference. I have no had it in my butt precisely but in my legs and to my own surprise I can not believe how much better, objectively speaking, my legs are. NO kidding. And talk about someone as skeptic as I when it comes to alternate anything. I assumed the formula used (not all mesoteraphists use the same combo of the same vitamins/substances/whatnot) would not be bad considering the doc who suggested it is a great overall dermatologist (very very professional and "no scam ever" - I have had to go to his office plenty of other times for other reasons and he was always super professional and knowledgeable) but I still had my "mmmmmmm". Yet, I swear three days after I caught a glimpse of myself in the most unflattering mirror in my apartment (and trust me, I never look at myself there because I look terrible, each single spot of cellulite seems highlighted to the ninth degree) and many many bumps and irregularities were GONE... gone! My legs are not perfect but the mesotherapy so far has made a humongous difference. So much that I kept on going for it. I still see results for each time I go. Above all, aesthetic side apart, the overall circulation in the area has highly improved, and circulation is linked to water retention and other factors that make cellulite appear more easily. As far as I know, the thing with mesotherapy is that the doc has to REALLY know about it and have a good technique and the right combo of substances (SAFE substances and combined right) for it to work. Then again, and this is something the doctor himself told me: it tends to show results "fast" (my case) when the cellulite is not too bad and caught early on, on people with not much body fat. In bigger people it takes longer, but it still shows (results)... just takes longer and one can get discouraged easily. That was my case: I am very thin, just happen to have cellulite, so I guess that makes the result show faster. But in any case, for me, it worked marvelously (first time I am less self-conscious with shorts on!!)
