Mariah Carey Works it in Paris
Mar 31st

Mariah Carey’s looking great! Mariah Carey has a healthy attitude about her weight, saying, “I don’t feel like you have to be a size zero. We should all just embrace who we are physically. I’m not supposed to be a stick figure girl. It’s just not me.”
Still, she works hard to maintain her body by sticking to what she calls a “bleak diet” – Mariah’s bleak diet consists of a lot of fish and soups. After realizing that her clothes didn’t fit right because she’d gained weight, Mariah lost 30 pounds with the bleak diet and she also works out – alot. Mariah Carey has a personal trainer who is based in St. Bart’s, and Mariah flies the trainer to New York to work with her. Diva! She does 90 minute to two-hour sessions three or four times a week.
Mariah Carey is 5′ 9″ and weighs about 135 pounds. She doesn’t have a scale.
Here’s a sample of Mariah’s diet (Patricia is the St. Bart’s trainer):
Mariah Carey’s Diet Plan
Patricia described Mariah’s daily menu:
BREAKFAST: “A two-egg omelet with fruit and maybe a piece of bread if her weight is good. Now she know how to balance her food intake with her activity level. She knows if she is having a very physically active day, she can have a bit more.”
LUNCH: Protein, such as fish, chicken or steak. “She really loves steak. Protein is good for the muscles, and you don’t feel hunger afterward,” explains Patricia.
DINNER: Protein and vegetables, such as swordfish and spinach. “Nothing fried, but a little oil or butter is alright.”
SNACKS: “Snacking is Mariah’s big challenge. The last time I was with her about two weeks ago, I tried to have her snack on apple sauce or raw vegetables – something light.”

Kate Moss Sprite and a cigarette at the beach
Mar 31st

This photo isn’t new, but I’ve had it for a while and wanted to share Kate Moss in a bikini. Love the soda and cigarette, Kate. For someone who I’m guessing doesn’t take real good care of herself, she looks great.

I hope you don’t mind that Jake Gyllenhaal is in the photo
Since I posted about Reese Witherspoon and her beloved Crock Pot the other day I’ve been trying to find some Reese Witherspoon diet info for you. I mean, she always looks great – she seems fit and healthy, but you don’t hear about her being on any crazy diet or working out constantly.
So I got a few tidbits on Reese.
Reese’s diet:
- Reese eats 5 small meals per day.
- She eats a high-fiber muffin at breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and salmon and vegetables for dinner.

Reese’s workout:
She runs three miles every day and she does yoga.
Here’s a recipe from Reese Witherspoon via the Ellen show website and thegailspot.com.
