The radio sidekick Robin Quivers who surpassed the goal of the “21 Pounds in 21 Days”, says its the best thing she’s ever done for her body. But results can be as unpredictable as Howard Stern’s on-air stunts. This Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox is a diet program that aims specifically at ridding the body of toxins, which are chemicals that are harmful to the body that we attain from our environment, think exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, factory pollution, etc..The purpose of this diet, which contains only liquids, is to give your digestive system a rest. My opinion is Robin should give it a rest! Dr. Roni (the “inventor” of this diet) lived with Robin just so she could wait on her hand and foot, serving her mineral drinks filled with antioxidants and soup. If you ask me, if there’s not someone there living with me forcing these liquids down my throat 24/7, I wouldn’t last a day. I would be way to tempted to eat a cracker or something. So unless Dr. Roni is going to shack up with you while you’re on this diet, don’t even bother…it’s about as realistic as the “master cleanse” diet.
