Oprah: Now I’ve read in your book that you said if I just replaced coffee with green tea instead, that I could lose 10 pounds in six weeks.
Dr. Perricone: Absolutely.
Oprah: Now really. How could that — what is the big deal about this?
Dr Perricone: Coffee has organic acids that raise your blood sugar, raise insulin. Insulin puts a lock on body fat. When you switch over to green tea, you get your caffeine, you’re all set, but you will drop your insulin levels and body fat will fall very rapidly. You’ll lose 10 pounds in six weeks, I will guarantee it.
Oprah: I’m gonna do that. OK. That is so good! Whoo! That is great.
Well Oprah did do this as she stated on her show, and started to take green tea. She didn’t say exactly how much she lost due to this green tea she’s been taking but she said it did in fact contribute greatly to her weight loss, which would explain why she loves green tea. Not only did it help her to lose weight, but it makes her feel great all day!

Celebrity Diet Secret…Coke?
Carmen has said that she is a coke freak! Yes, coca-cola that is. She says she drinks about 7 cans a day! The caffeine suppresses her appetite so she finds that drinking them throughout the day causes her to eat less. I guess this proves true that caffeine does curb appetite, plus the carbs from all the sugar keeps her going.
Janets Workout Routine

Janet Jackson eats healthy but its not her claim to fame. She gets her rock hard body by working out. Here’s her disciplined weekly workout plan:
Legs twice a week (reverse lunges, good mornings, toe touches, and leg press pushing back at a 30-degree angle).
Upper body work twice a week (push-ups, pull-downs, chest flyes, biceps and triceps supersets and shoulder lateral raises).
3 days of ab training
5-6 days of cardiovascular exercise (including kickboxing, basketball, tennis, baseball, jumping rope, and running)
Atkins Diet Messed up Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson used to be on the Atkins diet like lots of other celebrities.
“Atkins really messed me up mentally. I was so starved for carbs, I binged on them.” She now eats her favorite foods which are bread, cookie dough ice cream and Italian meals, buts Jessica eats them in moderation, along with lots of salad.
